Titan Cable Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Ram 1500 Classic- Video

Hi everyone. Aiden near with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain cable snow tire chains here on our 2022 Ram 1500 Classic. So rather than a traditional bulky chain these are going to be comprised of a series of cables and these cross sections have these rollers over them. That's gonna be a lot more low profile than a typical chain which means it is gonna be a smoother ride but not as aggressive in those harsher conditions. So this is good for light snow getting us that extra traction that we need but deep snow and ice, you're gonna probably want to go with one of those more traditional chains that has a more aggressive shape and bite to it. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at these cable snow tire chains from Glacier Chains, here on our 2022 Ram 1500 Classic. Now this cable-style of chain is a lot less aggressive than a typical chain style. These are gonna be pretty low-profile and light duty, so any on-road use it's gonna be great for, sort of light snow, maybe not necessarily ice, because they're not gonna have that bite and that dig-in, like something like chain might. But they're gonna be good for some relatively normal driving just to give you some extra traction. The cables are covered with the spring rollers here to help give 'em a little bit more height, and keep everything moving smooth, while still giving you that nice low-profile appearance. more

Titan Chain Wide Base and Dual Tires Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Ram 1500 Classic- Video

Hi, everyone, Aiden, here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain ladder pattern snow tire chains here on our 2022 Ram 1500 classic. Now, like I said these are gonna be a ladder pattern style chain which means these cross sections of chain move perpendicularly across the tire, making it really good for those starts and stops in those harsh weather conditions. The twisted link shape here isn't going to be as aggressive as something like a square link or a VBar style but it is still gonna give good traction because of that link size in the deep snow and pretty okay traction with ice. But this is gonna be great for onroad use that isn't too bumpy or jarring. We get a pretty good fit on the tire here but it doesn't come with cams or any other tightening mechanism besides the lever arm at the bottom here, I recommend picking up a pair of rubber adjusters here to make sure we get a good strong fit on the tire and we have tension that's constantly being applied to ensure safe travel. more

Even trucks get stuck, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Konig XG16 Pro snow tire chains on our 2022 Ram 1500 classic. These are the most versatile snow tire chains you can put on your vehicle. One, just because they're not gonna be so big to where you're gonna feel them whenever you're driving. We're not saying you're not gonna be able to feel these but it is gonna deliver a pretty smooth ride because of the design that we have. So here we have some cross chains it just connects these two little diamond patterns here, so it's gonna be a lot smoother than the ladder pattern 'cause a lot of the times you're hitting tire then chain, then tire then chain. There's not really gonna be a situation where you're only on the tire, only on the chain. more

Today we got a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic and we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, these Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tensioners, part number, T-C-2-8-2-8-C-A-M. Now, the tire it's working with is 275-60-R-20.These chains are really heavy duty and they're going to work well for when you have really tough conditions, like thick snow and ice, or if you're off-roading, as well. These chains have a ladder pattern, which is going to give you great traction for starts, accelerating, and stops. They have an aggressive V-bar link design, which is going to give you great traction for those times where you might be in a bind and need a lot of extra traction, or if you just need traction through rough conditions.I would avoid using these on any type of light conditions, where the chain might still come in contact with the pavement. You'd risk ruining the pavement, your chain, or even your tire. The chain is equipped with four of these cam tensioners, which are there to take up the slack in your chain to provide a snug fit on your tire. more

Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2019 Ram 1500 Classic- Video

Today we have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. And we're going to be test fitting these Titan chain alloy snow tire chains, which is part number TC2533. Now the tire size on our Ram is 275/60-R20. What I really like about these tire chains is that they're very quick and easy to install thanks to these color-coded connection points around the chain. And they're also self-tensioning so we don't have to an extra rubber tensioner to put on the different points of the chain to make sure they stay tight against our tire. It's all going to be contained right in this system. more
